& Ride-Share Policy

Junior Avalanche Transportation & Ride-Share Policy

All members and their families are solely responsible for arranging transportation to and from all club-related activities, including practices, competitions, and events.

The Club does not provide, arrange, or supervise transportation and assumes no responsibility or liability for any transportation arrangements made by members.

Participation in ride-sharing or carpooling is voluntary and undertaken at the sole risk and discretion of the participants and their families. Members are responsible for conducting appropriate due diligence when entering into any transportation arrangement.

Coaches and managers may participate in transportation; however, they must strictly adhere to the Rule of Two at all times.

No coach or manager may be alone in a vehicle or setting with a single athlete who is not their own child, unless another screened adult is present or explicit written parental consent has been obtained and documented in advance.

All transportation interactions must comply with applicable Safe Sport policies and standards. Any breach of this policy or Safe Sport requirements may result in disciplinary action.
