Junior Avalanche Code of Ethics

General Principles
At Junior Avalanche, we strive to:

  • Treat everyone with respect and integrity, offering helpful feedback and avoiding public criticism.

  • Show sportsmanship, leadership, and fairness, and stand against discrimination or unfair behavior.

  • Create an environment where everyone is treated equitably and the spirit of the game is honored.

Player Code of Conduct
As a player, I will:

  • Play because I love the game and enjoy being part of the team.

  • Stay free from alcohol, nicotine, and drugs during club activities.

  • Treat teammates, opponents, coaches, officials, and parents with respect.

  • Choose positive actions—no violence, harassment, or offensive language.

  • Play by the rules and respect the game and my opponents.

  • Value effort, learning, teamwork, and fun as much as winning.

  • Show good sportsmanship and respect the decisions of coaches and officials.

  • Follow all club policies and social media guidelines.

Parent Code of Conduct
As a parent, I will:

  • Support my child’s participation in a positive, pressure-free way.

  • Focus on enjoyment, effort, and growth over winning.

  • Encourage respectful behavior and positive conflict resolution.

  • Celebrate effort and improvement, not criticize mistakes or losses.

  • Be a positive role model by supporting all players and respecting officials.

  • Help create a safe, welcoming environment free from abuse.

  • Appreciate the time and dedication of coaches and volunteers.

  • Follow all club policies and social media guidelines.

Junior Avalanche is committed to creating a supportive, respectful, and positive experience for everyone involved.
